Arts Enchanted Evening is a progressive dinner party that aims to showcase the McConnell Arts Center’s beautiful facilities and arts offerings. As guests move through the building they will have a sampling of heavy hor d'oeuvres in the decorated rooms.

Food will be provided by Steven's Catering.

Complimentary beer and wine will be served throughout the building and then evening will end with a champagne toast!

The dress code for the evening is cocktail attire, or costumes to match the theme. 

Guest Vocalist, Sydney McSweeney, will be joined by Lucas Holmes, pianist. The duo will share music from both "The Wizard of Oz" and "The Wiz."

Sydney's distinctive jazz, gospel, and pop vocal stylings have made her one of the country's hottest young vocalists. Her dynamic performances with Columbus Jazz Orchestra have been described as "stunningly beautiful" and her standing room-only night club performances have become a favorite of audiences across the country. Although her schedule is jam packed with recording sessions and performances, as a devoted teacher, she still carves out time to nurture the many talents of her many students. 

Lucas' performances have spanned the Midwest and beyond, with frequent engagements around central Ohio at major live music venues, public stages, and private events, as well as international appearances in Canada and at the Jarasum International Jazz Festival in South Korea. Lucas works regularly with many of Columbus' best-known musicians and jazz ensembles, including Sydney McSweeney, FLIPPO, Vaughn Wiester's Famous Jazz Orchestra, and the Duke Ellington tribute band Such Sweet Thunder, as well as pop, rock, and funk bands.
